Tell me a story." I believe our life is made up of countless experiences. It is from those experiences that we create our story. The story we leave behind is our own personal legacy. Storytelling is how we connect with others and how we learn. That is why I chose to become a journalist. I want to connect with people and their experiences and create a platform to share those stories. My professional focus in journalism is writing and production. Whether I am in behind the scenes or in front of the camera my goal is to be an effective storyteller. My true passion is sports and entertainment. I love the constant change of pace, the intensity, and the way it brings communities together. I've worked hard to sharpen and perfect my skills, but I'm a big believer that there is always more to learn. To stay on top of your game, you have to constantly adapt and strengthen all areas of your craft. I have experience in radio as a show assistant where my duties consisted of material research and operating the soundboard. While at WCHE 1520, I recorded hourly news updates for scheduled radio segments. My career then took me across the country, where I interned with Young Hollywood as post production assistant. I was responsible for transcribing notes during talent interviews, editing social media clips and cover art, as well as assisting on field shoots. I am detail-orientated, resilient, and I thrive in a collaborative setting. I strive to produce on-time and high-quality projects while enjoying the process of piecing a story together.
