About Diana Mitchell

I am a Head of Content and writer who helps B2B SaaS companies (especially HR tech, recruiting tech, and staffing tech) get maximum ROI out of their content investments through my role at Sharp Pen Media and my side projects. I'm a content marketing leader, but I always wanted to be a writer. I jumped at the chance to write in high school, became an English major in college, and then. had NO idea how to actually BE an actual “writer.” I researched careers and finally realized a marketing/PR career could leverage both the creative and analytical parts of my brain. Huzzah! Ironically, I had been an "accidental" marketer to that point, but it was after finishing my master's in 2008 that my career really took off. Since then, I've consulted with and freelanced for some very cool companies. Climbed the corporate ladder as a Head of Content and Marketing VP. And have had the pleasure of working on pipeline-generating content for some very cool B2B SaaS companies. I also LOVE speaking, teaching, and hosting podcasts. I'm a creator at heart, and it is a GREAT time for marketing leaders who love to create.
