What we say and what we do ultimately comes back to us so let us own our responsibility, place it in our hands, and carry it with dignity and strength.” - Gloria Anzaldúa Diandra Sarr is a recent graduate at Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and a minor in the French Language. She is driven in providing and fostering inclusive and creative outlets for People of Color, as it relates to the larger scheme of global social systems beyond the popularized one-sided narrative we grew up learning. Through her work in community-based research and engagement, including a collaborative autoethnography (CAE) of a postsecondary program for Womxn of Color and Transgender non-binary folx, she is well-prepared in analyzing ethnographic research for committees and underrepresented populations. Beyond her current research efforts, Diandra has internship experience in advocacy and outreach efforts, thus expanding her skills and knowledge of NGOs, leadership, and the interconnectedness in migration and human rights sectors.
