About Diane Bennett
Educating undergraduate nursing students in clinical and classroom settings. Primary area of education is obstetrics, however I have also taught medical-surgical nursing in the clinical setting for this university as well as classroom education for the RN-BSN program. I enjoy using our new maternal simulator from Laerdal to help the students learn in a hands-on way. I am involved in several university committees, and have recently accepted a position as secretary for the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. I completed my dissertation defense & received an EdD in Nursing Education in May, 2019. My research & passion is to assist students towards becoming lifelong learners.
