About Diane Beyer

My name is Diane Beyer, and I am a hard-working single mother of 2 daughters, Candice and Jasmine. I moved to Las Vegas from the east coast in 2004 and have worked as a cook and a chef at Four Seasons Hotel, Caesars, Eataly Las Vegas, Cosmopolitan and Resort World. As a child I witnessed my mother fight complications from diabetes and heart disease; ultimately losing her battle when I was 20 years old. As a result, I became stronger and more prepared for the journey I would take 12 years later. My daughter Candice was born with a severe heart condition, lung problems, and blood disorders. We had spent lots of her life in the hospital. I never let that stop us from smiling. To help bring us joy I would change Candice’s clothes into hospital gowns. She passed away at two and a half years old. I have made my mission and Candice’s legacy to help families going through medically challenging times. Since her passing I started Joyful Fighter a business making fashionable hospital gowns for children. When your child is in a hospital gown, they are struggling with something they can not control, and neither can you. Replace those feelings of helplessness and fear with Joy and strength. Because if they don't feel good, they can look good doing it! I love my family, food, sunshine, and helping others find Joy!
