About Diane Heiman
A creative and clear communicator with over a dozen years experience in policy work for non-profits and government. Co-founder and first president of Georgetown University Law Center's Equal Justice Foundation that provides 400 fellowships for law students each summer and has over a million dollar annual budget. Because of my passion for children's literature, I have embarked on a new path. I have co-authored four books for kids including,"See What You Can Be: Explore Careers That Could Be for You!", a 2008 children's Choice Award winner (American Girl Publishing) and "It's a It's a It's Mitzvah"(Jewish Lights Publishing), named one of the best spiritual books of 2012 by spiritualityandpractice.com. Currently, I am working on two additional writing projects. My goal is to help children discover their strengths and find their own voices in a hopeful world.
