About Diane Sherlock

With a background in print journalism, I have a wide-ranging media career. My professional passion is for finding and telling high-impact stories—to advance nonprofits, illuminate current issues, mobilize collective support, and transform individual lives. I began in television, as an on-air news reporter and an award-winning public affairs producer. At Harvard University, where I earned a BA and a Masters in Education, I was a development communications director and editor of two alumni magazines. I have served as an editorial, communications, and recruitment director for both local and national educational nonprofits and as an independent strategic communication consultant to such institutions as Emerson College and the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in the creation of fundraising “case statements.” A certified courtroom mediator, I have practiced in the Massachusetts District Courts and alongside the chief mediator at the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Since 2020, I have been deeply engaged in Democratic grassroots politics, based in the “purple” state of Arizona, and the national commitment to save our American democracy.
