High attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable building an easy rapport with interview subjects. Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and multi-task capabilities. Ability to clearly convey a story with pictures and sound. Articulate well with reporters, producers and assignment desk personnel. Enterprise my own stories and shoot, produce, and edit them to air on our KING 5 Evening show In June of 2024 I received the Silver Circle Award. It is considered a lifetime achievement award where we are nominated by someone in the industry and judged by members of NATAS Northwest Emmy's in Montana, Idaho, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon. It is a huge honor to be chosen. Some people would say it is similar to a Hall of Fame for people who have 25 years or more in the industry and who have made a significant, impactful contribution to the vitality or the industry and for setting standards we all hope to emulate. It's also for to honor people who give back to their community.
