About Dianna Williams

Dedicated human resources professional with mid-senior level HR generalist experience. Throughout my HR career I have used strong customer service skills - embracing a people first mindset. I have demonstrated my ability to apply HR principles within small and large environments ensuring alignment with organizational goals. My areas of HR strength reside in employee relations and recruitment. In my HR experience I have managed various HR projects from on-boarding to employee engagement initiatives, employer branding, recruitment strategies, benefits transition work, and supported the development of high performing teams. When I look back over my human resources career the following are just some of the accomplishments that I am proud of: • I was able to engage staff through various employee programs, like the onboarding process, town hall meetings, open enrollment events, the breakfast with leadership program, employee recognition events, organization day events, and the leadership off-site retreats. Additionally, I was able to engage employees around performance metrics, and career development models for employee growth. • I developed and enhanced recruitment through on-the-spot hiring events at Vinfen, a leading human services company in Cambridge, MA and used this recruitment method with the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC (now Fort Liberty) in the Army Career and Alumni program (ACAP) now called the Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP). While at Vinfen Corporation, on-the-spot hiring events proved to be a successful recruitment strategy for hiring difficult direct support positions. At Fort Bragg, I proudly helped over 800 Soldiers transitioning out of the Army to re-enter civilian life with employment. • As part of the Student Advantage pre-IPO team, I was able to help grow its operations through mergers and acquisition. Through an HR team effort, we transitioned the benefit offerings and 401K plan which supported employer branding. I also rolled out a new performance management program, which allowed me to train managers and employees on a new performance management system. Hopefully, you will continue to review my LinkedIn profile, you will see that there is a gap between my professional human resources career and my more current work experience. I hope this will not deter you. To be clear, I am seeking to re-enter the human resources field and would like to do so at the mid to senior level. I have maintained my human resources knowledge of state & federal employment law, HR best practices, and trends.
