She is an experienced project manager and quality auditor and has delivered training to police investigators and army explosives ordnance disposal personnel.Career Dianne’s early career was spent in a number of financial and government institutions including Alcatel STC (NZ) Ltd, OPRAF (Office of Passenger Rail Franchise)(UK), Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, NatWest Markets and the European Bank for Research and Development (EBRD) undertaking a range of financial and secretarial duties. In 1997 she began a Master’s degree in Forensic Science at King’s College London. After graduating in 1998 she joined Dstl in the Forensic Explosives Laboratory where she followed the Case Officer career path. Beginning as a Forensic Researcher she continued her training and development through Forensic Analyst to Forensic Case Officer. During her time in Dstl Dianne also gained knowledge and experience of quality management systems and quality audit as a Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance trained auditor. She undertook research in the development of stable isotope ratio mass spectrometry as a forensic tool and gained experience as a project manager delivering canine training aids to UK Police Forces. In common with all Forensic Case Officers, Dianne also delivered forensic awareness training to Police Officers and Explosives Ordnance Disposal personnel. Dianne left Dstl in February 2010 and is now a Director of Linked Forensic Consultants Ltd and a consultant forensic scientist.
