About Dianne Harris

Dianne is an Associate Director of IT Programme Management and a Business Systems Transformation Leader in Higher Education and Public Sector. With over 25 years experience in strategy, governance and successful delivery of digital business solutions, Dianne works with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leaders to delivery teams, to turn good strategy into reality. Her experience spans large-scale transformation programmes, IT strategy, programme management, governance and leadership, business analysis, process improvement and digital systems delivery in Online Customer Services, Customer Relationship Management, Finance and Revenue Collection. Her industry experience covers Higher Education, Defence, Foreign Affairs, Commercial Consumer and Local Government. Currently working in Higher Education digital transformation, Dianne has also has worked in public and private sectors in similar roles. She has spent many years as a consultant with PwC and also as a Director of an independent consultancy. Dianne’s work in public sector has delivered business efficiencies, significant savings and increased revenue and won a government award for online customer service. Dianne is currently working at the University of London where she has supported senior leaders, and led the IT and Digital Programme Management team to deliver deliver a variety of digital programmes and projects supporting strategic transformation in a challenging financial and regulatory environment. Her team’s work has improved business capability through delivery of a CRM system, a Cloud migration programme, an Online assessments system supporting over exams globally, Student Accommodation system supporting multiple halls of residence, SEIM system supporting cyber security, improvements to student systems based on HESA analysis, Student Module Evaluation feedback system, Microsoft Information Protection, MS Teams Telephony system, HR Payroll system and modernisation of Identity Access Management. She is an advocate for practical application of Agile PM and a member of the HE Agile Community of Practice established by UCL, also a member of University and Colleges Information System Association (UCISA) and HESPA.Dianne believes in the power of education to transform lives and has had over 13 years experience as governor of a large school graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, as Vice Chair of the Board, Chair of Finance & Resources Committee and Chair of Curriculum and Standards Committee.
