About Dias Satria

Dias Satria is the Head of Innovation and Transfer Technology at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) and the Vice Chair of the East Java Creative Economy Committee. He is also the Founder of Jagoan Indonesia, a nationally recognized business incubator empowering young entrepreneurs through creativity, innovation, and data-driven approaches.With over 14 years of teaching and research experience, Dias is an accomplished creative economist and data science enthusiast. His passion for economics, innovation, and analytics has led him to author seven books, collaborate with key institutions such as Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and receive the 2024 National Book Award from Perpusnas (the National Library of Indonesia).At Universitas Brawijaya, Dias previously served as Head of Economics, Finance, and Banking, and now represents the university in the Indonesian Creative City Network (ICCN) through programs that foster innovation ecosystems. His core focus lies in data analytics, smart cities, and the creative economy, integrating academic insights with practical innovation for regional and national development.Currently, he is leading Digital AgTech research and ecosystem collaboration with ACIAR (Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research), focusing on digital transformation, agritech innovation, and sustainable rural entrepreneurship in Indonesia.
