I’m also the editor of vdR’s Practical PLM Newsletter and blogs. My Past Focus – Bourke Consulting Associates After establishing my firm in 1971, I assisted companies to gain the benefits of Manufacturing Resource Planning, Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise Resource Planning. We also developed MRP ll educational material for end-users including Allied-Signal, Hughes, Lear, Northrop, Parker-Hannifin and Rockwell Collins. And, we developed interactive software-specific training materials for ASK, Boeing Computer Services, Cincom and others. My Prior Experience Before establishing Bourke Consulting Associates, I held management responsibilities in divisions of Textron (material) and Carrier (IT) and was with IBM in sales and systems. I’ve been a Writer/Columnist for over thirty years including white papers, product reviews and articles in Desktop Engineering, Midrange Enterprise, 2PLM Newsletter and others You can review recent publications in Engineering.com in the Accomplishments section. In 1975, I wrote and published the first modern guide to managing bills of material. APICS cited Bill of Materials – The Key Building Block as a “classic in the field.”
