Mr. Delaney is a retired military professional with over 29 years of Aerospace Control Operations experience. Current place of employment is with Barrie Nissan working in the Parts Department. He was previously employed with Simcoe County Airport Service as a professional driver moving passengers and freight to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport. Mr. Delaney was also employed with ING Robotic Aviation as an FSR (Field Service Representative) from Jan 2010 to July 29 2014 to Fly & Maintain UAV's and to also include ISR Management ( Intelligence, Surveillance & reconnaissance ). Derrick joined ING Jan 2010 and shortly after joining ING he completed the basic Scan Eagle operators course in Brisbane Australia at Insitu Pacific. He has completed several tours in Kandahar Afghanistan and many flight camps in support of Army training as a Scan Eagle operator. Derrick has completed the Maritime Scan Eagle operators course in Bingen Washington at Insitu school for Scan Eagle operators. He has now been certified to operate the Scan Eagle on Canadian Navy ships. Derrick was deployed on the HMCS Toronto summer/fall of 2013 operation Artemis.He is also qualified as an Aeryon Scout Operator to fly and operate the Aeryon Scout UAV. He is a traveled professional with extensive management and supervisory experience. He holds a High Government security clearance.
