With a strong educational background in computer software engineering and a versatile skill set in accounting and web development, I am an accomplished Accounts Receivable Specialist at The Door Company, a leading provider of commercial doors and hardware. In this role, I handle various financial tasks, such as invoicing, payment collection, demand letters, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. I also leverage my proficiency in scripting and coding languages, such as React JS, Java, C++, Python, Google app script, and SQL, to develop custom invoice reports and templates, as well as visually appealing graphics for forecasting analytics. Prior to joining The Door Company, I worked as an Accounting Assistant at Mahoney Engineering, where I coordinated and collaborated with diverse teams, bridging multiple departments within a large organization. I managed accounts payable processes, including working with sub consultants and handling government certificates. I also supported complex projects, delivering exceptional results and adapting swiftly to evolving requirements. My strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence have consistently contributed to the success of my previous employers. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to enhance business functions and outcomes. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering at Austin Community College, after completing a Full Stack Web Development Coding Bootcamp at the University of Texas at Austin in 2021. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Classical Languages from the University of Maryland, where I graduated in 2014.
