About Dick Paul

I am an entrepreneurial consultant and driven project manager at the interface between business, facility, IT and information management. The common thread in my work is the development, organisation, innovation, procurement and implementation of a wide range of processes and services around digital collaboration, document management, communication services and logistics within complex organisations. I work from Communication Concert, an agency whose ambition and core competency is 'directing and orchestrating communication processes'. I am proud to currently be in charge of 'Digitalising Examination' for ROC Amsterdam and Flevoland,'Digital Collaboration and Document Management' for Tilburg University and "Design of Logistic Services' for Upfield R&D Labs. In answer to the question of what I am really good at, I often say that I am good at bringing complex problems back to the core. Then putting them into perspective, connecting with the stakeholder and the environment, developing a vision, setting goals and a strategy to realise these goals. Then, together with the team that ultimately has to do it, come up with feasible solutions and implement them. I was once trained as a mechanical engineer but soon switched to business administration. I believe in the principle of continuous education. For example, in recent years I have been trained in both strategic policy-making, project and programme management, business process redesign, agile working and lean six sigma, but at the same time I have also studied art history. In my role as director/owner/managing partner of an organisational consulting firm, I learned to lead professionals. To be at the forefront of my field, I immerse myself in trendsetting principles and developments such as artifical intelligence, digital working, digital transformation, message logistics, operational excellence, lean six sigma and the impact of the internet on communication and media.
