About Dick Smits

I would qualify myself as open minded, with an eye for new ideas. A structured and focused person who is capable to work from beginning to end. Capable of stepping outside own viewpoint to achieve the higher goals. I am a team player, an asset and facilitator in teams. I am a Master of Science in Business Administration (graduated ‘Bene meritum’), with the central theme ‘strategy’. I was able to combine my University career with sports on a high level. Switching between traveling, sports and my education I was able to graduate ‘bene meritum’, which implies passing every course on the first chance with at least a 7,5 and my Master thesis with a minimum of an 8. I have a strong affinity with the social community outside my professional environment. For instance, as a contract player at one of the largest amateur clubs in The Netherlands I am involved with training and developing young players.
