About Diego Baderna

I'm an Environmental Toxicologist with experience on ecotoxicological assays and in vitro toxicology. Actually, i am a laboratory technician in the Ecotoxicology department of Chemservice taking part to GLP studies on biocides, wastes and complex mixtures. I worked for more than 10 years as Researcher at Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology, Department of Environmental Health Sciences, Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche "Mario Negri" focusing on Human Risk Assessment, in vitro tools for risk assessment and in silico toxicology. I have obtained my PhD in Life and molecular sciences from the Open University (UK) in 2015 with a thesis about the use of in vitro models for toxicological study of environmental al complex mixtures. From 2008 to 2011 I have attended a post graduate 3 years programme on Biomedical reseraches at Mario Negri (Milan, Italy) where I have attended also the PhD programme from 2011 to 2015. From September 2006 to November 2007 I've attended a Pre-graduate stage for Final Thesis on Environmental Toxicology at Laboratory of Ecology of Professor Andrea Binelli, Department of Biology - Università degli Studi di Milano – Italy. The topics were biomarkers, ecotoxicology and in vivo toxicology, In 2003, I took part at “Stockholm Junior Water Prize” as Italian contestant and at ”European Union Contest for Young Scientists” Italian National competition where I won the Award for Best work on Water. main expertises: human health risk assessment and managment, in vitro coltures and in vitro assays, toxicological evaluation of compounds
