I serve as Lead Product Designer at Beable, the K-12 ed-tech company that is breaking through to new levels of literacy and life-ready success. Beable is enabling K-12 school districts to close COVID-19 literacy and achievement gaps, recover from learning loss, and implement remote learning that closely connects teachers and students whether in the classroom, at-home or both. Beable’s multi-dimensional Life-Ready Literacy System and the BeableIQ engine at its core leverage quantum leaps in technology to extend teachers’ reach within and outside the classroom – with the goals of closing persistent literacy gaps, providing test-prep in the classroom, preparing students for college and careers, and ensuring that all kids have individual paths to graduate with the skills they need regardless of their starting points. I am a Product designer with a mechanical engineering background. Passionate for solving abstract problems in simple purposeful ways using design sensibilities and systems thinking. I am a tinkerer at heart with a DIY approach and an appetite for learning.
