About Diego Bernardino

My name is Diego Bernardino. I am a creative and focused thinker motivated by the limitless possibilities that lay within a video production. My goal is to work vigorously with a team or as an individual to progress my skills as a video editor, videographer, and certified drone pilot. I intend to operate my video editing with diligence, manage my time with grit, and create a uniquely driven environment that inspires my peers to grow and learn with me. I have passed the advanced video, photo, and film editing classes offered at Palomar College. My hobbies include drones, photography, editing, exercising and meditating. What we do outside of work and school often times portrays our personalities the most. This is why it is important to use it as inspiration so that your work can reflect your personality. Another aspect that provides insight into what kind of editor I want to be is the music I choose to listen to. I use it to amplify my drive - listening to music that reflects my energy. With each song that plays, I relate to the artist’s purpose and make it my own. This is important because when creating a production for a customer, you really have to capture their intentions and understand the vision they want to see come onto the screen. Whether it is using the music that speaks to them as a person, their hometown in which they love, or their family which they cherish - creating a wholesome experience in a production field will exemplify your intentions as a creative and where you see the industry going.
