Born in Belgium from Italian parents, I have attended the European School: I grew up alongside children of different cultures and nationalities. As a result, I feel at home in a multicultural environment and have learned to speak multiple languages. Thanks to my university studies, I acquired good verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to speak in public. Having been in touch with computers since before the appearance of the 14.4k modem - and the lovely noise it made - I started developing my IT skills out of personal interest. Then, through my professional experience, I kept improving my technical knowledge and user support capabilities as much as possible. Once I obtained my first team leader position, I could finally put my passion for Excel to good use and improve my reporting skills which I first developed while working in a sales and customer service environment. Creating my own dashboards and KPI indicators for my Team helped me find improvement points and reward hard working people based on facts and figures. I always believed in coaching and knowledge sharing so I did all I could to help and motivate my Colleagues and contributed in feeding the local knowledge bases. The professional environments I have worked in made me stress resistant and taught me that most problems, if not all, can be resolved by collaborating with different people in different departments.
