About Diego Castillo
Linguist with experience in second language teaching (both Spanish and English) and the fields of translation and interpretation. While most of my previous experience was linked to higher education, I decided to go on a new adventure and try the K-12 world. Currently, I am acting as an Upper School Spanish Teacher for Hawken School located in Ohio. I was born in Chile and decided to move to the US in 2018 to pursue higher education. Best decision I have ever made! I hold a B.A in translation studies (Technological University of Chile), a M.A in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (U.T San Antonio), and a M.A in Hispanic Linguistics (Texas Tech University).
