Energetic and Mission-Driven professional technician with 15+ years in heavy engineering maintenance and supervision. I served in the U.S Navy for 10 years where I developed special skills in mechanical engineering, project management, and leadership. I Recently graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and will start a PMP course soon. My career goal is to become a talented project manager. Background • I have experience in the fast pace industries of rail, maritime, industrial and power sector. My time in the Navy made me tenacious, resilient, and hungry for success; always learning new skills and adapting to change in different industries. • My years of experience as a technician enabled me to successfully supervise small and major engineering projects on ships, locomotives and industries from beginning to end. • Having high values of responsibility helped me manage the entire territory of Hawaii as a remote worker-working alone while meeting budget, schedule and contractual obligations getting the job done even when there was no clarity on how. • Relative experience as maintenance supervisor out of the military- I have managed teams ranging from 3-20 personnel in maintenance repairs, preventive repairs and overhaul of mechanical equipment. I enjoy spending time with my family doing activities such as hiking, biking, and traveling I want to have a fulfilling career that I enjoy to prove to my kids that everything in this world is possible with a goal and hard work.
