Provides technical and project management leadership for the design, procurement, and implementation of all equipment supporting Network infrastructure. • Participates in stakeholder and customer meetings and in resolving customer problems as they pertain to facility environmental concerns. • Manages ordering, installation and payment for equipment and services in accordance with monthly budget objectives • Provides expertise in strict financial management of projects from bid process through final payment and reconciliation by preparing bid packages for solicitation of pricing • Works with vendors to obtained quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure their products meet Verizon Wireless requirements. • Creates and maintain product backlogs, establishing milestones, timelines and direction, aligning people with determination, and willingness to take action and follow through • Ensures all network elements are properly implemented in the network, network elements include NOKIA LTE/AWS/small cell/ 5G radios, DAS/IN-Building gear, network router and network power equipment, batteries, and power plants, generators, antennas and miscellaneous hardware. • Supports the planning organization group to develop strategies to be more cost-effective and efficient. • Interfaces with local jurisdictions and municipalities in regards to scope of work and designs • Provides regular project status reports to leadership and project management teams • Works closely with Real Estate, RF, System Performance, Network Assurance, Fiber team groups to ensure sufficient network capacity • Establishes and documents quality assurance methods, procedures, standards and technical training related to Engineering
