About Diego Guillen

Hey there! Graphics and photography always have been a big part of my life. Ever since I was a kid my parents introduced me to it and I can say I fell in love right away. From branding to photojournalism. I've always been in love with creative media. While going through my design bachelor's degree program I started working as an intern for one of my teachers' agencies. After years of experience, I would finish my time with them as a sr. graphic designer. The variety of clients and accounts expanded my perception of what graphic work is. I can work with brands from plastic netting for crops to sports supplements. The skill to work in different fields is one of my assets. After leaving the graphic agency I enrolled in the Photography Diploma at Humber College. While studying there I also took on the role of Photojournalist for the Humber Sports Network which covers the Varsity team. Not only I covered every single game for the Hawks but I also worked as a gaffer for the Broadcast team where I would set up and rig the cameras for the live stream. Working with them gave me a clear and broad view of the realities on and off the field. After graduation, I was hired as the first-ever Chief staff photographer for the Humber Hawks as a part time job which I currently have.
