Hi, I’m Diego! Born in Lisbon into a multicultural family, I grew up speaking English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, which shaped my global mindset and passion for connecting with people from all backgrounds. My international journey started early—at just 11, I moved to Barcelona to train at one of the world’s top tennis academies, balancing intense competition with academics at an American school. Later, I took my talents to the U.S, competing as an NCAA Division I student-athlete while earning a double major in Business Administration and Marketing at Illinois State University, graduating magna cum laude and with honors. After years of discipline and high-performance sports, I transitioned into the business world, where I now apply the same drive and strategic thinking to my career in sales and business development. As a Territory Sales Engineer at Henkel Adhesive Technologies, I work closely with my clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and create long-term value. My role is about collaborating with businesses to help them optimize their processes, improve efficiency, and achieve their growth objectives. Beyond sales, I have a strong passion for sustainability. This led me to earn a CFA ESG certification, reinforcing my commitment to responsible business practices and innovative solutions that create a positive impact.
