About Diego Manfredi
Diego Manfredi was born in Torino, Italy, on 31 January 1978. He receveid the Laurea degree in Materials engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2003 (summa cum laude) and the Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Technology at Politecnico di Torino in 2008. From January 2008, he worked with a 2-year post-doc fellowship in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering Department at Politecnico di Torino. From 2010 to 2019, as post-doc and then as researcher technologist in the IIT centre settled in Turin, his work was focused on research management and activities related with additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies for metals and composites, and consequent materials characterization. Since August 2019, he joined Politecnico as Professor in the Applied Science and Technology Department (DISAT).
