About Diego Ocampo

As I finish my final year as an undergraduate student, I look forward with great excitement as I prepare to fully immerse myself into the construction industry. I will begin my professional career at F.A. Wilhelm, where I will be working as a Project Controls Engineer focusing on exciting projects coming to the LEAP Lebanon Innovation District. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to build a diverse foundation in construction, project management, and business - through prior internships and my coursework. I am excited about contributing to meaningful projects that will have a lasting community impact. Outside my academic work, I love going and hikes and being outdoors as much as I can. My family has always been a priority to me, so I also enjoy being around my family members. Other things I enjoy doing are building Legos, traveling, and caring for my physical and mental health. These things provide a balance in my professional life, and allow me to remain grounded and present in the moment. As I transition from a student to a full-time professional, I'm eager to keep growing - both personally and professionally - by learning from those around me, taking on new challenges, and furthering my education!
