Greetings! I am Diego Oliveira, originally from Brazil but also a global citizen living in Surrey, BC, one of the vibrant cities in the Beaufitul British Columbia, Canada. I bring a diverse background in non-profit organizations, where I had the chance to develop my skills such as attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders over fifteen years. In May 2022, I accepted an extraordinary challenge to pursue my passion about people, and culture, relocating to a new country. Canada is my home now, and I'm grateful for this opportunity to live and continue my journey. I am driven by the opportunity to empathize with clients, communicate, meet and greet donors, and engage the community towards volunteerism. Understand their needs, and create intuitive solutions to make a positive impact in our lives is my goal. As a diligent and dedicated individual, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skills in canadian organizations. I consider myself a avid learner in communications, and that extraordinary area is guiding my professional life. My mindset: work in collaborative environments, and embrace challenges with enthusiasm and courage. After all, it's not about who you are, it's about who you want to be. Alongside my professional journey, I have cultivated fluency in three languages: English, Spanish, and my native Portuguese. This linguistic diversity allows me to connect with people from various backgrounds and communicate effectively in multicultural settings.
