As the Managing Director and Latin America Regional Franchise Controller at Citi, I oversee the financial and regulatory reporting for 23 countries in the region, ensuring compliance with Local and U.S. GAAP, as well as the operational controls and internal auditing for the business units.With over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, I have developed a strong expertise in foreign currency transactions, financial analysis, and process and system integration. I have successfully led and managed multiple projects to enhance the reporting capabilities, reduce the reporting cycle time, and eliminate work flow redundancies through automation. I have also directed the integration of finance processes and systems for acquired companies in Central America, demonstrating my cross-cultural management and communication skills. My mission is to provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial information and insights to support the strategic decisions and goals of Citi in the LATAM region.
