About Diego Samaki

I am an A level student at Westminster City School, where I study Economics, Business, and English Literature. I am passionate about leadership, literacy, and finance, and I aspire to become an investment writer or journalist in the future. Although im a student, I currently have a position as a reading coach at WCSCH, where I develop and demonstrate my interpersonal communication and time efficiency skills. As a reading coach, I help year 7 students in the "Read To Succeed" program, which encourages literacy in those who struggle. Also, as regular tour guide I assist parents and potential students around the site of WCSCH, showcasing its facilities and achievements. I also participate in the Pathways To Banking & Finance program at The Sutton Trust, which provides me with insights and opportunities to explore the financial sector. Through this program, I will learn about various topics, such as financial markets, asset management, and investment banking. I have also networked with professionals and mentors in the industry, through the opportunity granted by the ‘Pathways To Finance’ offered by WCSCH. I seek opportunities to grow and challenge myself in different fields of expertise, and I value teamwork, diversity, and innovation. I am confident in my abilities and eager to learn from others, aiming to make a positive impact in the world through my academic and extracurricular activities.
