About Diego Zanco

I’ve spent my career building systems that solve real-world challenges — ones that help people handle complexity without slowing down.Today, I lead DeepBlue — a yacht-management platform built to make yacht operations more connected, transparent, and manageable. Our goal isn’t to “simplify” operations, but to connect them — bringing together crew, maintenance, compliance, finance, and safety into one clear, manageable system. What began as a passion project among yachting enthusiasts has grown into one of the industry’s most trusted platforms, helping crews, captains, and managers stay in sync with the pace and demands of modern yachting. Before co-founding DeepBlue, I helped build a pioneering video game studio and a film production company where we developed proprietary software for managing multimillion-dollar film projects — experiences that shaped the foundation for what DeepBlue is today.Across these ventures, I’ve focused on designing structures that help teams excel — whether it’s a developer team launching a game, a production crew coordinating complex shoots, or a yacht crew maintaining their vessel in top condition.Looking ahead, I’m as curious as ever about how design and technology can make complex environments easier to navigate — not by removing the complexity, but by giving people the clarity and confidence to master it. I thrive on bringing people together to tackle practical challenges, turning passion and teamwork into lasting impact.
