About Dieter Kaiser

Dieter Kaiser is a Quality Management System expert and IATF-16949 Internal Auditor. Dieter is a consultant for North American, Canadian, and European manufacturers and logistics operations and is responsible for Quality Process Improvements and Quality Driven Management implementations. Primary tools used include QDM (ABLE), IATF 16949 standards; PFMEA, APQP, CAPA's, UAT's, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001, AS9100, and ISO 22163. Working with the Operations, Sales, and Planning teams, providing support for the manufacturing, distribution, and delivery of products for Telecom, Automated Production, Healthcare, Aerospace, Automotive, and Railway. Dieter Kaiser is a Bravo Zulu Award winner for his success in QMS improvements and Order Fulfillment Logistics within FedEx Supply Chain. Prior to becoming an independent quality consultant and prior to joining GENCO/ Fed Ex, Dieter worked at Cornerstone Automation Systems as the Director of Quality and Manufacturing Standards. Also working at Meggitt Aerospace for 7 years as the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Continuous Improvement Director. In this role, he implemented and maintained the Quality Management System (QMS) as a certified AS9100 internal auditor, coordinating supplier quality audits, internal corrective actions, and customer requirements flow down. He also utilized Lean Manufacturing processes to grow the Addison, Tx facility from 1.2 million dollars per year revenue to 19 million per year within 9 months. Since attending the University of Virginia and receiving his Mechanical Engineering degree from Piedmont Virginia College in Charlottesville, Virginia, Dieter has worked 28 years in manufacturing quality and process improvement. Companies including 3M, Alcatel, Cisco Systems, Whitaker Controls, Motorola, Teradyne Controls, and Glasfloss Filters have also benefitted from his years of experience as an engineer and operations manager.
