Greetings and thank you for visiting my profile! I'm thrilled to connect with fellow professionals who are as passionate about cutting-edge scientific research as I am. My skill set ranges from intricate techniques like animal tumor grafting in the brain, and cisterna magna injections, mouse CSF collection to advanced methodologies such as FACS, confocal microscopy, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, cytotoxicity assays, drug testing, qPCR and lentiviral knockdown/overexpression strategies. During my PhD journey, I was working with snake venom research and my project was based on identifying a nonconventional neurotoxin from cobra venom and its characterization. This experience allowed me to gain hands-on expertise with various chromatographic techniques for protein purification and characterization, including HPLC/FPLC-AKTA purifier operation, snake handling, and venom milking. Beyond my core academic pursuits, I've taken an active role in community engagement. Collaborating with an NGO, I led initiatives focused on raising awareness about snakebites and promoting effective management in rural areas. I've had the privilege of delivering informative lectures on snakes and snakebite management to the District Police Department and National Thermal Power Corporation in India. Currently, my research endeavors revolve around unraveling the intricate mechanisms of breast-to-brain metastasis, leptomeningeal dissemination, and the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier. I firmly believe in the power of collaborative efforts and teamwork to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge.
