I have successfully passed all 3rd Class Power Engineering exams and require only three more months of steam time to become fully certified. Current Role – 4th Class Power Engineer at Harmony Beef Company Ltd. Since May 2024, I have been managing a 4th Class heating plant alongside a 457 TR Ammonia refrigeration plant, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting, and optimizing system efficiency. My role demands strict adherence to safety and operational standards while overseeing critical plant equipment. Transition to 3rd Class Power Engineering With my exams completed, I am actively gaining the required steam time and further refining my expertise in thermodynamics, control systems, and facility management. My hands-on experience and academic background are preparing me to take on greater responsibilities in power plant operations. Oil & Gas Background Before transitioning to power engineering, I gained two years of experience in the oil and gas industry, working on complex projects, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring safety compliance. This experience has strengthened my problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. Mechanical Engineering & Leadership My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, equipping me with a strong technical foundation. Additionally, I have contributed to the power engineering community as Vice President of the Power Engineering Club at SAIT, where I collaborated with industry experts and peers to promote learning and innovation.
