Maintaining records of Bearing Maintenance & Overhauling. Handling individually & working in shifts as a ‘Shift Incharge’. Taking core of Automation Data transfers & Troubleshooting. Monitoring & Control of inventory. Timely inspection of running work rolls chock and bearing. Supply roll to mill in required time with desired roll profile. Assembly of work roll bearing and morg-oil bearing. Performing safety observations & Educate the personnel on work safety at project site. Analyse the roll defect and testing Non Destructive Test (NDT) methods carried out on Rolls- UST, DP test, Roughness Test, Hardness Test and physically checking. Planning & Execution of Rolls on Roll grinding machine & chock changer and chock tilter m/c. Maintenance of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Lines. Planning & Execution of overhauling of all types of roll neck Bearings & Chock. Managing Shop Floor activities and reduce threw production/machining time. Currently taking care of Shift activities in Roll Shop managing the machine activities and Maintenance activities carrying out in the Shifts. Handling Chocking /De-Chocking Activities including inspection of chocks and rolls. Handling grinding of rolls activities. Handling of bearing over-hauling operations. Handling of manpower in the shift where in various operations, viz, operation of crane, grinding, bearing inspection, etc. are done. Documentation and monitoring of the activities done in the shift. Coordination of the activities with the customer (JSW.) and the contractor. Maintain good housekeeping in roll shop area. Optimum utilization of resources. Planning of roll Grinding and bearing servicing as per SOP.# Submission of invoice and collection of payment # MIS reporting Look after operation of all CNC Roll grinding machine like a Herkules, Pomini, Rumania and short out the machine problem during the roll grinding in minimum break down and idle time.
