As a Transportation Engineer at Caltrans, I inspect and monitor the construction and maintenance of bridges and other structures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. I collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of projects within budget and schedule. I graduated from CSU, Chico in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, where I learned the fundamentals of engineering design, analysis, and management. I also gained valuable experience as an Assistant Surveyor at W. Gilbert Engineering, where I performed various types of surveys for residential and commercial properties. Additionally, I developed my customer service and teamwork skills as a Retail Sales Associate at Collier Hardware, where I assisted customers with their hardware needs and inquiries. I am passionate about engineering, sustainability, and innovation, and I look forward to applying my skills and knowledge to contribute to the improvement of transportation infrastructure and services.
