About Dillon Benedicto

I am a Registered Dietitian and currently a Clinical Instructor at the University at Buffalo teaching courses in the areas of Culinary Arts/Medicine, Food Service Management, Food Science, and Nutrition Counseling. As a recent graduate of the Clinical Nutrition MS program at the University at Buffalo, I have completed various dietetic field experiences throughout the Buffalo area including a level 1 trauma center, long-term care facilities, community outreach and education organizations, and research laboratories. I've had a strong passion for both the culinary arts, nutrition, and education that has only continued to grow throughout my time as a student and instructor. I have a strong foundation in culinary arts with over 4 years as a cook and 6 years of training at Eastern Suffolk BOCES and Johnson & Wales University. My background unites culinary arts excellence with a passion for nutrition education into Culinary Medicine to help those in my community take control of their diet and health. My dream is to use this unique blend of hands-on knowledge and clinical knowledge to enhance community well-being through informed dietetics practice.
