Background

About Dillon Gephart

IT support and cybersecurity-focused professional with hands-on experience supporting users in both higher education and state government environments. I graduated from Wilmington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity after earning an Associate degree in Information Technology (Security concentration) from Delaware Technical Community College. Through my work in IT support, I assist faculty, staff, and end users with hardware, software, network connectivity, and account access issues while documenting and resolving incidents through ticketing systems and structured support processes. I’m comfortable working in various OS environments and troubleshooting devices, diagnosing connectivity problems, and explaining technical issues in a way non-technical users understand. I enjoy problem solving, incident response, and learning how systems fail so they can be secured and improved. I’m currently working toward CompTIA Security+ certification and aim to move into a cybersecurity or security operations role where I can combine technical troubleshooting experience with defensive security practices, and I’m always open to connecting with other IT and cybersecurity professionals.
