Hi LinkedIn network — My name is Dillon Moore, and I am an environmental professional specializing in the assessment, monitoring, and documentation of stream, wetland, and nutrient offset & buffer mitigation projects. In my role as a Project Scientist at Axiom Environmental, Inc, I have supported over 50 mitigation sites across North Carolina, preparing technical documents such as year-end monitoring reports, As-Built plans, jurisdictional determinations, Natural Resources Technical Reports, and mitigation prospectuses. My fieldwork experience includes wetland delineations following the NC Wetland Assessment Method (NC WAM), stream assessments using the NC Stream Assessment Method (NC SAM), surface water identifications under SWITC guidelines, and threatened and endangered species surveys conducted in accordance with USFWS guidance. I regularly oversee the installation and maintenance of field monitoring infrastructure, including vegetation plots, stream cross sections, groundwater wells, soil temperature loggers, and automated stream and rain gauges. I also use ArcGIS Pro to generate mapping products and spatial analyses for client deliverables. I am enthusiastic about exploring opportunities to contribute to sustainability initiatives and tackle environmental challenges head-on.
