About Dillon Qomvi

I currently work at Arizona Conservation Corps Flagstaff Office. As a Field Technician for the summer season; I support adult and youth crews on project work and the crew dynamics. I've worked at ALCC for over a year (3 work seasons); working on forest thining projects and evasive species removal. I'm also a certified "B" Bucker Sawyer, with over 600 hours of trigger time on chainsaw. The Hopi office has started the Wood For Life Project. Which helps Native American tribes and keeping forests healthy. We have received The Volunteer and Service Citizen Stewardship and Partnership Award by the United States Department of Agriculture's Forest Service. I also worked at Waste Management for over a year as well, as a Laborer in the yardsite. Conducting basic maintenance around the site. Such as cleaning the area of trash and weeds, cleaning and washing trucks, organizing the yard site, and welding/painting trash dumpsters. I would also operate the forklift to help unload products and move heavy materials around the site. WM helped me get certification for forklift operation. As a Laborer I also was tasked with picking up pine needle bags in the community streets w/ a F-450 30ft bed pick-up truck.
