About Dimas Andrianto
I am a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University, Indonesia. I have more than fifteen years of working experience in the field of Biochemical Education. Currently, my research focus is on the biochemical method development for the analysis of bioactivity in cosmetics and functional foods. Bioactivity researches in cosmetics includes surfactant and heavy metals chelating activity as cleanser, antibacterial activity for antiacne, tyrosinase enzyme inhibition for whitening, cell cycle and collagenase inhibition activity for anti aging, and method development for making of beauty soap and face masks. Besides, I'm also interested in the use of Indonesian medicinal plants for degenerative medicine.
