About Dimitar Arsov

Having been admitted to the Brussels Bar, I am currently holding the position of Associate in the Government Regulation and Trade Department at Jones Day, Brussels. I advise international clients on various aspects of European law and international trade law, by assisting them in understanding and complying with a wide range of international trade-related issues, focusing on EU restrictive measures, export controls, trade defense, and regulatory compliance. A significant part of my work involves advising on EU sanctions and helping clients navigate the complex legal requirements surrounding these measures. I also advise global clients on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. I did a traineeship at the European Court of Justice, in the cabinet of Judge M. Kancheva, before joining Jones Day. Passionate about EU law, strongly motivated and proactive, my strongest assets are my adaptability, my well-developed critical thinking and good time management.
