I have implemented strategies to improve financial management, resulting in accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. As part of my role, I help develop and manage budgets, prepare and analyze financial statements, and help lead audit preparation and grant reporting efforts. Through my experience in the nonprofit sector, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of an accountant and CFO, and have successfully implemented internal controls and financial policies that have improved operational efficiencies and safeguarded organizational assets.
