About Dimitrios Strantzis

I love being part of the financial industry, which undergoes constant change and growth and can offer me a fast-paced continuously challenging career. Working in the Corporate Finance - Valuation and M&A Advisory team of a Big Four company, while also studying for the CFA charter designation, provides me with the opportunity to take advantage of my strong quantitative and analytical skillset, along with my understanding and affinity in the financial markets and my ability to translate and demonstrate financial information in a clear fashion. I have finished studying for a Master's degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Nottingham. Since I was young, I have always wanted to learn as much as I could about the finance industry, and especially about the banking sector. That is why I decided to do my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and I managed to get a first-class honours. Throughout my academic years, I have gained a solid understanding of finance and I was able to gradually develop analytical, quantitative, communication and of course teamwork skills. However, my excellent academic performance would not be the same if I were not motivated for further study. I have attended an online course about Investment Banking and I have also completed a three-day internship about Finance and Professional Services, where I had the opportunity to complete a project simulating a real-life work task. I always aspire to be on top by making the best I can out of any situation and I am not afraid of facing new challenges. I want to use my strong academic background and all the skills I have gained, to help me achieve my goals of pursuing a career in the financial sector.
