About Dimitris Koutsaidis

Dimitris Koutsaidis is currently a Software Engineer at Meta. Previously, he was a Research and Development Engineer at Accusonus - a technology company that develops software for music production/performance, audio repair, and audio/video editing for creators. He has also worked as a Research Assistant Intern on Spatial Acoustics, at the Acoustics Lab of the Department of Signal Processing and Acoustics at Aalto University, under the supervision of Professor Vesa Välimäki. In 2018 he graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras, where he focused on Digital Audio Signal Processing. His master thesis concerned the analysis and processing of multichannel audio signals using Perceptual Auditory models, which was conducted under the supervision of Professor John Mourjopoulos. His research interests include a variety of digital audio analysis and processing methods, and their fusion with leading-edge ML/AI techniques, with a focus in digital audio applications and Plug-In development. In parallel, he is an amateur guitar player and an aspiring drums beginner. Music production on the side.
