I have specialized training in crisis management, assisting victims with navigating through the criminal justice system, direct services, identifying the needs of victims, collaborating with NGOs, protecting victims' rights, and leading a team of advocates. I am also skilled in offering support in responsible decision making, short term counseling techniques, and how to make them applicable in challenging situations. My courtroom experience has afforded me the ability to manage and provide court support to crime victims in different types of cases; high profile, complex, death penalty, domestic violence, fraud, human trafficking, and sexual assault. In addition, I also have experience in maintaining victim confidentiality without jeopardizing the integrity of the case.I recognize I have a dual responsibility to support victims and prosecution. My role is to bridge the gap.
