About Dimpy Das

I completed my undergraduate BBA program from IEM Kolkata which has equipped me with a strong foundation in business and management principles. Throughout the program, I gained knowledge in various domains such as finance, marketing, operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship. This education gave me valuable insights into effective decision-making, strategic planning, organizational behaviour and leadership skills. During the BBA program, I interned at Decathlon, one of the largest sporting goods retailers and focused on overall customer satisfaction, including assisting them with product information; honed my skills in merchandise organization and excelled in processing digital payments for customers. On graduating in mid-2022, I worked as a Customer Service Associate at Teleperformance, representing Flipkart, the Indian e-commerce company, for approximately five months until November 2022. In that role, I gained valuable experience in effective communication and problem-solving skills in a customer-centric environment. Soon after, I joined the family business, Das Audio Sound System, the sound and lights event management services company, as Client Relations Manager and Payment Coordinator, where I continue to work to date. In that role, I play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction between the company and the clients during pre-event coordination and post-event follow-up. I also manage the financial aspects of event transactions, ensuring accurate payments and effective budget management to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s services. However, currently I am pursuing the MBA program, through which I aim to refine my skills in leadership, cultivate a strategic mindset, and deepen my understanding of various facets of management, ranging from finance to marketing to operations to organizational behaviour. Moreover, the program will allow me to hone my analytical abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving acumen through practical case studies and real-world projects.
