About Dina Hamideh
Giving back to humanity its my mantra in life. My interest in the field of Public Health, specifically health behavior and medicine, stems directly from a personal nature. Growing up, as a first-generation Palestinian American, I have seen first-hand scenarios of many avoidable and treatable conditions, compounded by lack of access to preventative health services, education, and quality of care. Moreover, my own parents’ battle with type 2 diabetes has inspired a desire within to extend assistance to others by contributing to ongoing public health research and providing sustainable solutions. My research interests are currently in precision medicine and nutrition, particularly in vulnerable populations.
