About Dina Riska

I am an environmental specialist with more than ten years of experience in sustainable development and conservation. My work has largely focused on supporting green growth initiatives in East Kalimantan, where I’m involved in climate change adaptation, conservation, and sustainable development projects. My role includes coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating projects to ensure they meet our regional environmental goals. I completed my Bachelor’s in Forest Product Technology at Mulawarman University in Indonesia and later pursued a dual Master’s degree through a collaboration between the University of Brawijaya in Indonesia and Prince of Songkla University in Thailand. This academic journey, along with my field experience, has given me a strong foundation in sustainable energy and environmental research. In my work, I emphasize gender inclusivity, integrating gender perspectives into climate resilience initiatives to ensure our projects engage a diverse range of community groups. I believe that sustainable development efforts are stronger and more impactful when they reflect and respect the different needs and contributions of all community members.
